Short version

Tip Calculator With Tax does not ask for your name, your email, or your bill. Every calculation happens inside your own browser, and the numbers you type are never sent to our servers.

What we collect

We do not collect personal information. We do not operate accounts, and we do not ask you to create one. The calculator stores a small amount of preference data in your browser's local storage:

Your chosen currency
Your rounding preference
Your light or dark theme choice

These settings never leave your device, and clearing your browser storage removes them for good.

Your bill amounts

The bill amount, tip percentage and number of people you enter are held in memory in the browser tab only. They are not transmitted, not logged, and not stored on any server. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.

Analytics and advertising

The site is designed to be fast and unobtrusive. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free measurement to understand which pages are useful. No advertising trackers or third-party advertising cookies are set.

Where we link to another website, that site has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how third-party sites handle your information.
